Refund and Cancellation Policy
Order cancellations and redirections
A customer can request a cancellation from Deviation Road and the order may be adjusted or cancelled at the discretion of Deviation Road management if reasonable notice is given prior to its dispatch. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is correct prior to your order being sent. Once the wine has been dispatched, attempts may be made to recall or redirect the shipment on your behalf, however we cannot guarantee this once the order has left our premises.
Breakages
When we are notified of a breakage in transit by our carrier, we will notify you and send out a replacement order as soon as possible.
Corked or faulty wine
We will replace or refund any bottle of wine that is damaged or faulty. We ask that the customer returns the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that was ordered in error.
Once the wine is received we will refund the credit card that was used for the original purchase for the cost of the wine, less shipping and handling costs. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact the tasting room at 08 8339 2633 for return instructions.
Event tickets
All event tickets purchased are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to on-sell your ticket or arrange for someone else to attend the event in your place if you are no longer able to make it.
We need advance notice to ensure that special dietary requirements can be accommodated.
Sabre Club (subscription wine club)
Deviation Road’s Sabre Club is a commitment or subscription club. There is no cost to join but upon sign up, the subscription will continue for two shipments per year (May and November) until a customer requests a cancellation or hold.
The minimum commitment is twelve months or two shipments. If you wish to cancel your membership prior to this, a cancellation fee will apply.
Sabre Club members can cancel their subscription with Deviation Road by contacting the club manager by phoning 8339 2633 or emailing [email protected].
If a subscription is cancelled or a member’s payment details are not kept up to date, the customer will forfeit any benefits associated with their subscription.
