Legal requirements
You must be 18 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Deviation Road. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 18 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Deviation Road are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
Credit Card charges
Online orders are accepted by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express and all orders are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. Stripe will collect your payment information. We are not responsible for how Stripe stores or handles your billing details.
Minimum purchase
No minimum purchase is required.
Shipping costs and information
Ground shipping is provided by Australia Post, our preferred freight carrier, at current market rates and these costs may change without notice. Shipping charges are calculated according to the weight of your shipment and the delivery location.
Your order will require a signature on delivery, unless you expressly give us permission to leave it and instructions.
Wine is a delicate commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity which does not like extremes of temperature. Hot, humid summers and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipping.
Deviation Road is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. We will do our best to prevent shipping during extreme weather events. When your wine order is picked up by the carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
All of our shipments are sent with a level of postage insurance. When we are notified of a breakage in transit by our carrier, we will endeavour to send out a replacement to the customer and will send new tracking details as soon as possible.
